Time stood still on saturday 25th of July. I felt like Alice in Wonderland, surrounded by beats and people who are sharring the same love for any kind of dancemusic. The mainstage was definitely the best thing you wouldn’t miss, the mask and the laserlights were overlighting our non-professional digital camera’s. Ever wanted an unique piece of art hanging on your shoulder? Or other cute pieces of handmade art? Little Odd Forest is a webshop based in Singapore, making original handmade stuff like clothing (tanks), little bags and totes, pin brooches, …

I felt in love with their totes, and couldn’t resist buying one. This week I received their package, and to know this intercontinental shipping was faster than my packages from Esprit !

My Lomographic Prizes

Awhile ago (8 nov) I wrote a post about some lomos of me were published in the biggest lc-a book of lomography.com. I promised to scan the pages of my shots but this book is too huge to get on my scanner and it would be unfair to copy the pages and publish them on the net. You can see all the submitted lomos on the LC-A BOOK site. My famous mirrorshot made it to their favorites too !!

Now and then I also submit lomoshots to the LSI rumbles, like the “Prague City Rumble”. We went to Prague in August and I took some lomoshots. I tought I wouldn’t hurt anyone with submitting them … And thinking that my shots were crap, BAM!, I was one of the chosen lomographers who’s submissions will be published in the Greek OZON Lifestyle Magazine.

Now, this wasn’t all ! After this great news I was honoured about a Diana+ shot I submitted to the fourcornersdark Flickr pool. With a little interview, Nic Nichols wrote this post about my winning shot and send me my prize : a Vivitar Wide & Slim + some Lomo Redscale films, thanks again Nic !

A Fonky Xmas Wishlist

Het is een jaarlijkse gewoonte om met Nieuwjaar een cadeautje te kopen voor degene wiens naam je hebt getrokken. Daarbij hoort ook de jaarlijks wederkerende verwijten om het bestaan van dit fenomeen, het gevloek en het gestress bij lange wachtrijen aan de kassa’s, de vraag (en het waarschijnlijk al gekende antwoord) waarom je niet eerder bent begonnen aan deze folterpartijen…
Toch bestaat er een oplossing, althans voor degene die het leed van de schenker wilt verzachten : een Wishlist !
Deze kan je online opmaken en via mail of blog ter kennis geven aan je vrienden, familie, collega’s.. enfin degene waarvan je verwacht misschien iets te krijgen

Ook al verwacht ik niet van iedereen geschenkjes (maar altijd welkom !), een kijkje nemen in mijn (betaalbare) verlangens kan geen kwaad, wie weet ineens een goed geschenkidee voor jou zelf !
